Kaleb is tremendous to work with. He listened to what we wanted and then worked with our budget to make it happen. Also very understanding of needing to take the project in strides as it's a big project and we were not able to do it all at once.

Great price. We used Mack Land Improvement LLC to give new life to our old driveway. He brought in 2 loads of gravel and laid them down perfectly giving us the refresh we were looking for. He was very friendly, on time, and respectful of our property and our dog.

I have had Mack Land Improvement doing all sorts of work for me. They have done my driveway, cleared food plots, ripped out stumps, and cleared old pastures. Time and time again they are professional, respectful and always have the customer in mind.

I recently had Kaleb over for the second time in two years to do some mulching for better access on our property and to work on habitat improvement. I'm already looking at what he can clear for me the next time and thinking about other projects as well.

What needs to be cleared on your property?

Whether you’re opening up overgrown acreage, prepping ground for a build, or putting in trails, food plots, or pasture, clearing is often the first job that has to happen before anything else can.

Common reasons people call for land clearing:

  • A wooded lot needs clearing or an accessible path
  • Tall grass or brush needs to be cut down with a brush hog
  • Pasture or fields have grown over and need to be reclaimed
  • Fence rows are out of control
  • Trees, brush, and stumps are in the way of a project
  • Trails need to be cut through the woods for access or hunting
  • Land needs to be opened up for a food plot
  • Storm damage has left trees and deadfall on the property

Land Clearing & Brush Hogging Services

Recent Land Clearing & Brush Hogging Projects

  • A real conversation about what you’re trying to do.You tell us what you want for your property, whether that’s a building site, a food plot, a trail system, or reclaimed pasture. We listen, walk the property with you, and recommend the right approach based on what we see. You make the decisions; we give you the information you need to make them well.
  • Pricing options for your budget. We offer both hourly and project-based pricing on land clearing work. Either way, you know your rate before any work begins. No hidden fees. No surprises on the final bill.
  • A project that fits your budget and your timing.Clearing large acreage can be a big job. We’ll work with you on a plan that fits your schedule and your budget, whether that means tackling everything in one push or spreading the work across multiple seasons.
  • Forestry mulching that keeps the soil where it belongs. For most clearing jobs, we use a Fecon forestry mulcher to grind trees, underbrush, and deadfall into wood chips on contact. The root mass stays in the ground, which prevents erosion and eliminates the need for burn permits or brush piles.
  • Trees felled and stacked the way you want them. For larger trees that need to come down, we fell them and stack them next to the road so you can keep the logs, mill them, or have them hauled off. Your timber, your call.
  • Stumps handled the right way for the next use.If the cleared area is becoming a house pad, yard, or septic field, we grub the stumps out and backfill the holes. If the area needs the root mass left for soil stability, we cut the stumps flush instead. The next use of the land guides how the stumps come out.
  • Your property treated with care.Clearing is heavy work that can damage what you didn’t intend to clear. We pay attention to what you want to keep, including specific trees, fence lines, neighboring property, and the ground between cleared and uncleared areas. The transition between the two should look intentional.
