I called them on a Saturday and they even came on a Saturday! Talk about service. Had a logging road / washout repaired and am having them do some land clearing / improvement in the spring.

I have had Kaleb over to do a couple of things at my houses. He cleared a couple of acres of absolute mess on one of our properties and he definitely went above and beyond for me! It looks so good that my neighbor down the hill asked him to re-rock his driveway!

What needs to be prepared on your property?

Whether you’re putting up a new home, a pole barn, or another structure, site preparation is the work that turns raw ground into a buildable surface.

Common reasons people call for site preparation:

  • A new house pad needs to be cleared, leveled, and prepared for the foundation
  • An area needs to be cleared and graded for a pole barn or other outbuilding
  • The footprint of a yard, septic field, or other improvement needs trees and stumps removed
  • A building site needs final grading before the concrete crew arrives

Why People Choose Us for
Site Preparation Services

Recent Site Preparation Project | Before & After

  • A real conversation about what you’re trying to do.You tell us what you’re building on your property. We listen, review your site plans, and walk the area with you. You make the decisions; we give you the information you need to make them well.
  • Pricing options for your budget. We offer both hourly and project-based pricing on site preparation work. Either way, you know your rate before any work begins. No hidden fees. No surprises on the final bill.
  • A project that fits your budget and your timing. If your site preparation is part of a larger build, or you’d prefer to phase the work across more than one season, we’ll work with you on a plan that fits your schedule.
  • Forestry mulching first, where it makes sense. For most site prep jobs, we begin by forestry mulching the area to clear underbrush, smaller trees, and deadfall. This opens up the site quickly and avoids brush piles and burn permits.
  • Larger trees felled and stacked the way you want them. For bigger trees that need to come down, we fell them and stack them next to the road so you can keep the logs, mill them, or have them hauled off. Your timber, your call.
  • Stumps handled the right way for the next use.If the area is becoming a foundation, septic field, or yard, we grub the stumps out completely. If the area needs the root mass left for soil stability, such as a septic field, we cut the stumps flush instead. The next use of the land guides how the stumps come out.
  • Final grade with the CTL.Once the area is cleared and the stumps are handled, we do the final grade with the compact track loader and backfill any stump holes. Your site is left smooth and ready for the next crew to come in.
